The first time, I got a gel tip set. One broke off in a few days, but I thought it might have been work related. Not that I work too much with my hands but, yeah.
It's a beautiful salon, and Clem, they do a perfect job, very professional.
By the time this was over I just wanted to get out of there! Then she rings me up and says my total is still $62. I had to do a dragged out back and forth with her and Louis about what I was quoted over the phone and what was done there. They brought the price down to 47 in the end and I still tipped her 20%. When I got home, the tape already started to peel back. And now the tape is off and this is only the next day.
The last time, less than 2 wks later (yesterday), things felt like they were going perfect. I got my fill and pedicure. They told me it was an extra $15 for the color gel, while most salons have a higher flat rate for a fill in with color gel. I asked about that and 3 other people came up to me being rude. So I got defensive, but paid and walked out.
The next time was 2 wks later (Dec 11 or 12) for my fill. The lady started, and in no time they started breaking off; so she said they were no good, and I’d need a new set. I broke the news, then she offered 10% discount. She placed my nails, and had another lady paint them. This lady put polish top coat on my gel color.
I’ll pass on this place next time.
Shorty put polish top coat on my gel color. I stood shut and prayed my fingers caught on fire under the UV (secure that check).
She buffed, and buffed, and buffed some more. All while changing multiple drill guards. The shape turned out decent and I would’ve skipped this review if it wasn’t for the rest of the service. She took 2 hours trying to do the design I asked for and still couldn’t do it. She said she was tired. Then she said she could put a tape design on my nails for free since she couldn’t perform the design. I accepted. The tape was sticking out in places and I had to keep showing her to clip it more.
I purposely go to pricey salons for better quality nails.
it was a great nail salon, everybody was friendly and nice job.its a quality salon
Only reason I am giving a one is because I went there previously with my family for pedicures since my regular place has fell off with their pedicures so this place was great so I figured I would go back and try them out for my nails I have done 1. I made an appointment and when I came in i sat at the table they told me too for 10 min before anyone acknowledged me to do my nails. 2. I was on the phone talking about to my sister about a family emergency and the nail tech comes to me and says hang up your phone or I am not starting your nails I looked at him thinking it was because he thought my hands were not gonna be free and told him I can put my earpiece on he said no hang up you should know better than to use a phone in a nail salon that is a spa which is a joke this is far from a spa so completely embarrassed I told sister that I will text and I hung up. 3. He was extremely sloppy and had dust all over me i have gels and he made them super think then he did not massage my hands put any lotion on my hands or anything with my cuticle and while my hands were under the light he went out to smoke a cigarette instead of massage my shoulders like every other nail tech was doing and then comes back in to tell me I am done and charges me $45 and I paid it and gave him a tip which he did not deserve at all this is my first time ever even writing a review but this place will never get my business again or my family or my friends that I actually recommended to them after my pedicure on will stick with heavenly nails in Hackensack who are the nicest people ever and actually have a real spa section. Also if you dont want phone use in your establishment put up a sign don't be rude to paying clients especially when they are not rude to you
It’s the next day and my nails are all cracked and two even chipped off a whole layer of gel.
Called for SNS service with extensions since it’s been said to be a health nail extension option and they said the price was $38 plus the cost of designs. Made an appointment for 4:30. I wasn’t seen until 5:20. I showed multiple people the design I wanted and they said I had to wait for Louis. When Louis was done with his client he told me I had to wait for this other nail tech. She told me that with a design my total would be $62 which I was fine with since it was an intricate design. I told her my nails were very fragile so to be careful. As sweet as she was, she did not listen.
Within days, the plastic part under the fake length of my nails started peeling off from my tips. What?
